On Friday, March 7, 2025, Global One Bank converted to a new data processor – a new and better system.
First and foremost, your personal data and account information will remain safe and secure as we transition to our new system. Your account number will not change after the conversion. Please remember that the bank will never contact you asking for things like passwords, usernames, digital security questions and answers, or Out of Band codes/authorization.
All customers will receive two statements in March. For customers who have opted for electronic statements, those will resume with the next statement cycle. We have selected a new modern look to our statements so they may look a little different but all pertinent information will be available in the new statement format.
We thank you for your patience.
Today, Tomorrow, Together.
The Global One Bank (formerly “Chappell Hill Bank”) was chartered in 1907 and has operated continuously in the same location in Washington County since its inception. The Bank was originally chartered as Farmers State Bank on September 1907. In 1989 the Articles of Association were officially amended to change the name from Farmers State Bank to Chappell Hill Bank. On January 5, 2023 Chappell hill bank was Merged into Global One Bank, retaining the name and the home office of “Chappell Hill bank”.
Since its inception in 1907, its primary mission has been to serve the Banking needs of the community of Chappell Hill and Washington County as well as the surrounding areas. Global One Bank has expanded this area to include Harris County, Texas and a broader Trade Area of the Greater Houston MSA.
Global One Bank’s mission of relationship banking continues to be the primary driving force behind the Bank today. Merging with the oldest Bank in Texas in its original location that has never closed remains a source of pride and legacy of Chappell Hill Bank. The Bank has built a reputation of conservative soundness.
During the Depression, “Chappell Hill Bank” kept its doors open in spite of great adversity, thereby instilling confidence in the community. The Bank continues to instill that same confidence in the community with over 115 years of continuous service to customers in Washington county and the surrounding areas.
This deeper sense of purpose enabled the Bank to become one of the few financial institutions west of the Mississippi to keep its doors open throughout the Great Depression.
Today, Global One Bank continues its commitment to its customers in ways that have formed deep roots in Texas while attracting accounts from across Texas and the Texas Asian community.
